The Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Foundation and Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School will host a Heart Awareness Day on Saturday, June 30th at the high school, 71-06 31 Avenue, East Elmhurst, NY. Doors open at 8AM. Potentially lifesaving information on sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), FREE Hands OnlyŽ CPR training, and FREE Health & Wellness screenings will be offered. There will also be entertainment, fun activities for the entire family, food, raffles, contests, and give-a-ways. The event is made possible through the generous support of co-sponsors and contributors, including JetBlue Airways, Farmingdale State College Athletics, Monsignor McClancy Memorial HS, Queens SUBOA, G.E. Pickering Inc., Cardiac Science, Philips, St. Francis Hospital Heart Center, Plaza del Sol, and a host of local businesses.
