Leslyn Walker, age 84, was born to Agatha Alexander and Morris Gellineau on September 19th, 1932 in Grand Bras, St. Andrews. She was raised by her Aunt, Philisity Pysadee, who also helped Leslyn raise her children and grandchildren.

Even with an elementary education, she was able to become the manager of one of the popular Bata shoe stores located in Grenville. She loved traveling and has visited Canada, America, England and many countries throughout the West Indies.

Her Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Melvin Walker. She had one surviving, aunt Rica Douglas. Her sisters: Phyllis Fletcher and Evadeny Alexander; sisters-in-law Edna and Angela. She has left behind nine children: Diana, Morris, Roden, Katusha, Irva, Derricks, Glenn, Cheryl, and Clive. Sons-in-law include William and Alexander, and daughters-in-law include Glenna and Evelyn. Her numerous grandchildren include Michelle, Karen, Dennis, Ian, Rachele, Alex, Nicole, Donnel, Keshawn, Keron, Brandon, Lisa, Giselle, Tasha, Randy, Rockel, Rishma, Julia, and Tanya. Her great-grandchildren include Jamiee, Aaron, Macayla, Rohan, Rene, Reagan, Camryn, Kiara, Kerri, Emma, Jaden, Natalie, Gabrielle, Danielle, Daniel, Alex, and another one on the.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wayne’s Funeral Home.
