A former police detective in Grenada is seeking the help of the United States in locating the remains of the revolutionary leaders killed in a coup nearly 24 years ago.
Prime Minister Maurice Bishop and most of his Cabinet were executed in a power struggle in the then People's Revolutionary Government.
His mother, Alimenta Bishop, has repeatedly called for the bodies to be located for a proper burial.
The US Government has said more than once that it does not know where the remains are buried and those convicted of killing him have also denied any knowledge.
But Vincent Roberts believes the US knows more than they care to admit.
He was in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department at the time of the US invasion of the island.
