Commissioner of Police Mr. Winston James wishes to assure the general public that the Royal Grenada Police Force has committed all the necessary resources to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to assist and advance the investigation into the death of Cosley Be Harry of Maran in St. John's.
Be Harry was shot in the vicinity of his residence on December 25th 2007.
Under the direction of Mr. Christopher Nelson, Director of Public Prosecutions, officers of the Western Division and the Criminal Investigation Department have been conducting the investigation.
Kelvin Antoine, 47 year old Black Bay resident has been assisting the law enforcement officers with the investigation.
Commissioner James also wishes to inform the public that it is not the responsibility of his office to decide on the related charges in this matter, but it is that of the Director of Public Prosecution who will make the final determination after the investigative process has been exhausted.
Commissioner James also wishes to inform that the investigation into the matter continues.
