Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department have launched an investigation into the death of 13 year old who was found at her Springs, (St. George) residence on Wednesday 9th May, 2012.
The teenage Secondary School student, was found in her bedroom with a scarf tied around her neck.
Another scarf tied to a small rope attached to the ceiling was also seen in the same room along with a personal diary.

A post mortem is scheduled to be performed tomorrow (Thursday 10th May, 2012) to determine the cause of death.
