this is not a game my friends.the government should have started these projects a long time ago.there are jobs involved.that's why people get sick and tired of politicians when they lie and pretend.but in any case, better late than never. |

I like the fact that the NDC government has chosen the right moment to begin these projects. Added to that the contract has exerienced some setbacks and this inevitably will delay completion as planned. These are strategic moves which will undoubtedly benefit the Tillman Thomas's polical campaign and re-election. The delay and completion of these projects way into 2013 would provide the current administration with some footing, thus, to be used to prove it has been doing something to aleviate the high unemployment rate.
However, if Keith mitchell and the NNP are not able to tackle NDC on the unemployment issue, Grenadians should see some mud stwing and character assination challenges directd at specific members within the NDC, on the economy and maybe the hiring of members of the Gang 17. With an increase in employment, the economy will show improvement becaused more people are going to have extra dollars to pump (spend) into the local economy. The economy then will begin to depict an upward movement..in addition, with further enhancement of agriculture and infrastructural developments, the NNP would be left with little or no negative propaganda to challenge the NDC. unfortunaely, the decision that led to Joseph Gilbert's suspension on corruption allegations recall will be another usable tactic to be employed by Keith Mitchell and the NNP renegades. Nevertheless, they'd have to proceed with caution as the NNP has been tainted with myriad corruption allegations during its 13 reign, stemmming from the prime minister to least member of his administration. |

Brother Stallion i take your point and will accept that politicans do use words and actions that they know will benifit them and their party for example like the above but the only difference here i believe is the fact that what is happening here in Grenville and the surrounding areas like the new developments/job creations/is real for all to see
although we do have to take on board the impending forthcoming election and how politicans like of all colours like to pretend that here is some jam to day and i want your vote tomorrow so yes i will agree with you here that we have to be vigliant and vote with our head and not with our belly. |

my bro.gabe,greetings.i must say that this is a very positive develpoment for our people.but gabe,i can't help but ask you the same question that you raised with keith mitchell.every time keith does or say something positive, you say that he is doing it for political gain.could the same question be applied to the prime minister?election not too far away and his profile is low. |
