The last day for submitting scrapbooks for the Commonwealth Flag Project is Friday, May 7, and the Department of Youth Development in the Prime Minister’s Office is encouraging all young persons 18 years and under to make submissions. The due date was extended as a result of the tremendous interest shown by young people to participate in the Project. Young people are required to produce scrapbooks containing a hand drawn flag of each Commonwealth member state, the name of each Head of State and a short profile of each member state. The producer of the first correctly completed scrapbook will win a cultural exchange trip to a Commonwealth country. Producers of the next ten correctly completed scrapbooks will receive consolation prizes. Submissions can be sent to: Commonwealth Flag Project, Department of Youth Department, Prime Minister’s Office, Sixth Floor, Botanical Gardens, St. George’s.
