LONDON - West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan has jumped 13 places and into the top 10 in the PricewaterhouseCoopers ratings for One-day Internationals following his performances in the recent matches against England. Sarwan, who scored a first-ball duck in the first match, but rebounded to score 216 in the next three matches for a series average of 108, is now in eighth place. The West Indies vice-captain has moved ahead of captain Brian Lara, who fell two places to number nine. Chris Gayle remains the highest placed West Indies batsman on the ODI list, but he has slipped one place to number five. The top three, however, remained the same with Australia's captain Ricky Ponting and vice-captain Adam Gilchrist tied for first, and India's Sachin Tendulkar in third position. No West Indians feature in the top-10 bowlers' list, but the top 10 bowlers remain in their positions, except for England's Andrew Flintoff, who falls a spot to eighth, and New Zealand's Jacob Oram, who rises, by default, to number seven.
