GRENADA'S OPPOSITION CRIES FOUL
ST GEORGE‘S, Grenada: The parliamentary opposition in Grenada is crying foul as government fails to say what will be discussed during the sitting of parliament on Friday. The parliamentarians claim that the government is violating the procedure by failing to say what will be on the order paper when parliament convenes on Friday. However a spokesman for the opposition grouping Nazim Burke says that as far as they are concerned only one item should be on Friday’s order paper, which is to debate how Prime Minister Mitchell should step aside to make way for a forensic investigation into allegations that he took a bribe from a German fraudster who was made a diplomat by his administration, a position that was revoked in 2001. The opposition parliamentarians are urging the public to be present to hear what ever debate that will take place based on what is placed on the order paper.
