The Department of Youth Development in the Prime Minister’s Office will launch “The Teenage Club” at the Youth Development Centre in Grand Anse on Friday, May 28 at 3:30 p.m. The Teenage Club is a component of the Department’s Model Youth Development Centre Project that seeks to engage young persons in healthy conversation about issues affecting them, while at the same time, encouraging them to have clean fun. The purpose of the Club is to promote healthy lifestyles, positive attitudes and values. Young persons between 13 and 19 years can take part, on a weekly basis, in Karaoke competitions and discuss issues that adults are often shy to talk to young people about. The Youth Department extends an invitation to all teenagers to attend.
