NEW YORK, NY (June 22, 2004) – Five of the top ten honeymoon destinations in the world are in the Caribbean and the region can boasts of having nearly 40 percent of the World’s 50 Best Honeymoon Destinations, according to Modern Bride magazine, which describes itself as “the last word on weddings.” The magazine polled 3,000 travel agents on “the world’s 50 most seductive destinations” for its Eighth Annual Honeymoon Survey. The results indicate that the Caribbean is popular among honeymooners, with 18 states listed in the world’s top 50 honeymoon destinations.
