HOLIDAY TRAVEL REMINDER FOR THE UNDOCUMENTED
The USCIS has issued a memo reminding individuals with either: • an application for adjustment of status to that of lawful permanent resident • an application for relief under the NACARA 203 • an asylum application that they must obtain Advance Parole by filing Form I-131 with the USCIS before traveling abroad for the holidays. Travel Warning for the undocumented Do not travel out of state, upstate, or to areas of the country that is a “national security sensitive location,” because you may be stopped and asked to produce valid immigration documents. If you do not have valid immigration documents, deportation proceedings will be commenced against you. SOURCE: IMMIGRANT'S JOURNAL
