BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY OFFERS ASSISTANCE IN DIVERSITY ...  
Apply for the Diversity Visa Program (DV-2006) at the Brooklyn Public Library About the Diversity Visa Program Approximately 50,000 immigrants will be granted visas through this program. Applicants in the lottery may be selected through a computer generated random drawing. The registration ends at 12 p.m. on January 7, 2005. See more about official rules at travel.state.gov BPL's Learning Centers will provide: Access to computer equipment (each site has 8 computers) Free Internet access Access to digital camera (each site has 1 digital camera) Staff will be available in each branch to assist with computer and digital camera BPL Learning Centers Applicants can register for the Diversity Visa Program at four Brooklyn Public Library Learning Centers during the following hours: December 4, 11, 18 2:00 - 6:00pm At the following locations: Coney Island 1901 Mermaid Ave. (near West 19th St.) Eastern Parkway 1044 Eastern Parkway (near Schenectacy Blvd.) Flatbush 22 Linden Blvd. (near Flatbush Ave.) Central Library Grand Army Plaza The library also has information on other applicaiton assistance locations.
