PRIME MINISTER MITCHELL TOURS MINISTERIAL COMPLEX
Public Officers in the Ministerial Complex welcomed Prime Minister Keith Mitchell, as he spent more than three hours Thursday morning visiting with staff and sharing experiences of Hurricane Ivan. Indeed, there were comforting moments, as the Prime Minister drove home the message that “together we can make it, rebuilding Grenada better,” noting that success will come with a positive attitude. Hearing how Ivan has affected their lives, the Prime Minister informed the Officers about benefits to be derived from the post Ivan Housing Plans. Interacting with the staff this morning also brought the Prime Minister a great measure of comfort, since his duties after Hurricane Ivan increased immensely. “The visit with staff this morning was most therapeutic for me personally. I felt invigorated by their comments and their encouragement,” the Prime Minister said following the tour. Most ministries have returned to the Ministerial Complex, after temporary dislocation following damages to the building by Hurricane Ivan. Source: Government Information Service
