Grenada remains behind schedule in the race to be ready in time to stage World Cup matches.
However, Don Lockerbie, the development director for Cricket World Cup 2007, (CWC 2007), says he is confident that their big problems are behind them.
Lockerbie has given the thumbs up to all the venues that he has seen.
All the venues have been given positive reviews by an International Cricket Council, CWC 2007 inspection team.
Construction across the Caribbean
The stadiums under construction or renovation in Barbados, Guyana, Grenada and Antigua and Barbuda were visited between Monday and Thursday last week and the two in Jamaica, which is the last leg of the tour, were inspected last weekend. The Jamaican grounds are three weeks behind schedule but the ICC is confident that they will be ready in time.
Lockerbie, speaking in Antigua at the completion of the tour there, said the inspection tour produced satisfactory results.
The other countries in the region hosting matches for the Cricket World Cup are Trinidad & Tobago, St Lucia and St Kitts & Nevis.
