One of Grenada's leading hotels has been recommended "off limits" to U.S. visitors in an advisory from the U.S. Embassy in Barbados. Here is the text of the advisory: U.S. Embassy Bridgetown issued the following Warden Message for Grenada on May 3: American citizens residing in or visiting Grenada are hereby advised that the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados, has placed the Grenada Grand Beach Resort off limits for members of the Embassy's staff visiting Grenada on official business. This action has been taken due to recent robberies and assaults which have occurred on the grounds of the hotel, and to the hotel management's failure to take what the Embassy would consider effective action to address security deficiencies. As always, crime and general safety information for Americans traveling or residing abroad can be found on the State Department's Bureau of Consular Affairs website at http://travel.state.gov.
