CATEGORY:MEDIA AWARDS ---------------------------- News release from MWAG Thursday November 02,2006 ST GEORGE'S, Grenada, November 02 - It's exactly one month before the inaugural Media Awards Ceremony in Grenada and the Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG) is expressing satisfaction with the overwhelming response by media workers. The ceremony will be held on Saturday December 02 where distinguished pioneers of the media in Grenada will also be honored. More than 50 entries have been received for the awards which will be judged by a panel headed by UWI Lecturer, Canute James of Jamaica. The Association has also included a popular media personality contest with the assistance of Cable & Wireless. The public could text in their favorite media personality to the number: 406-3263 (FAME). The winner will be announced on the night of the awards.
