CATEGORY:SPECIAL REPORT ---------------------------- From G'da Airports Authority Inside Grenada Wednesday January 17,2007 GRENADA - The Grenada Airports Authority is pleased to announce the significant increase in the number of private Jets now landing at the Point Salines International Airport. We see this as a direct link to the recent announcement of major Hotel Projects now taking place in Grenada. We highlight in particular the 1.5 billion dollar Port Louis Project being undertaken by the Peter De Savary group and complimented by other projects such as the one at Mt. Edgecombe and also the former Cinnamon Hill Hotel which is now renamed Mt. Cinnamon. The arrival of every Private Jet is a good prospect for investment opportunities in Grenada. The Grenada Airports Authority, as part of in its development plans, intends to expand the parking ramp at the Point Salines International Airport and also intends to cater for the growing number of private jets now visiting Grenada. It must be noted that when these Private Aircrafts land they are bringing with them a tremendous amount of foreign investors and this is surely good news not only for Grenada but for the region as a whole. It is known that there are some who just come for holiday excursions but there are many who are looking for opportunities to invest.
