GRENADIAN CABINET DISCUSSES ANTHEM SLIP-UP
The Grenada Cabinet was locked in a meeting for most of Monday to discuss what went wrong at Saturday's official handing over of the national stadium built by China. It was a deeply embarrassing incident when the police force band played the national anthem of Taiwan instead of the national anthem of mainland China. The Chinese Ambassador was at the function to officially hand over the stadium built at the cost of US$40 million. Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell has promised to investigate the matter.
