Almost 6,000 CARICOM visas have been issued to cricket fans who will be travelling to the region for the ICC Cricket World Cup. According to the CARICOM agency in Port of Spain looking after the visa system, applications for more than seven thousand visas have been received. In addition to the nearly six thousand that have been processed and granted, seventeen have been refused. The seventeen applicants were turned down based on security risks. Reprinted from radioja.com
