CATEGORY:SPECIAL EVENT --------------------------- INSIDE GRENADA Wednesday February 21,2007 by Wallace J.A ST.ANDREW’S: Yesterday (Tuesday Feb. 20), teachers, parents and students from Form 2 of the Signal Hill Secondary Comprehensive School based in Tobago, visited the staff and students of the St. Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School (SAASS). The visitors spent the day at the school, socializing with the staff and students. Students from Tobago were placed in the form rooms of their Form 2 counterparts in Grenada where a wealth of information was shared between the two groups. Towards the end of the day, the Signal Hill Form 2 netball and football teams played netball and a football game against their age cohorts at SAASS. SAASS won the netball game 15 goals to 5, while the SAASS football team also won their soccer game 4 – 0. From all indications, both the hosts and visitors seemed to have had a very good time. The staff and students of SAASS is already thinking about organizing a visit to Tobago at some point in time in the future.
