CATEGORY:SPECIAL REPORT(ACCIDENT) ------------------------------------- INSIDE GRENADA Wednesday February 21,2007 by Wallace J.A GRENADA: According to reports reaching Grenadian Connection (GC), the driver and passengers on board a red mini-bus (HL414) travelling through the Grand Mal area narrowly escaped death this evening. An eyewitness claims that the red mini-bus and a white sales van collided, which caused the mini-bus to overturn. Most of the passengers travelling on the bus were students from the Happy Hill Secondary School, who had just left their school to return home. Some fourteen persons, involved in the accident, were seen at the Casualty Department of the General Hospital, but it is believed that no one was in critical/ life-threatening condition. Grenadian Connection wishes to admonish all drivers using the nation’s roads to exercise due care and attention when driving and observe the nation’s traffic regulations at all times.
