Former Windward Islands Broadcasting Service (WIBS) star announcer, Eversley Olivacce, will be master of ceremonies at the upcoming Miss Grenada World Pageant at the GBSS Auditorium on March 31, 2007. The recently retired Olivacce who has worked with NBC in New York for the past 30 years, is returning to his native Grenada next month specifically to serve as emcee for the grand affair. “When I heard about the Miss Grenada World Pageant I thought this is wonderful for Grenada. Jennifer Hosten and I used to work together years ago at WIBS and she remains a dear friend. She asked me if I would do this and I was honoured. There is nothing that would please me more! I look forward to being back in Grenada for the Miss Grenada World Contest in March. It’s going to be a great show,” said Olivacce from his home in New Jersey.
