CATEGORY:CRIME ------------------- INSIDE GRENADA Sunday February 25,2007 by Wallace J.A GRENADA: According to information reaching the news desk of Grenadian Connection, a young man from the Grand Anse area was killed yesterday (Saturday Feb. 24). The victim is believed to be a one who goes by the alias ‘Tobacco’. The cause of death is alleged to be a stab wound. Members of the South Saint George Police Station and officials from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were at the scene of the murder yesterday conducting enquiries into the tragic incident. It is believed that two young men are presently in police custody and are assisting police with their investigation. A third individual is currently being sought by the lawmen. The murder took place in an area known as ‘Wall Street’ in St. George, close to the Morne Rouge Playing Field.
