The Grenadian soldier who won the Britain's highest military award, has gained another honour. Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry now has his own portrait hanging at the National Portrait Gallery in central London. Lance Corporal Beharry is the first living recipient of the Victoria Cross since 1965 -- for heroic deeds in the Iraq war. He says he still suffers daily pain in his head, shoulder and back, but added that he would like to think he is going to recover. Reprinted from bbccaribbean.com
