Teams of Grenadian and Cuban Social Workers were in the following areas between the hours of 10:30 am and 6:00pm on Friday March 2, 2007 to facilitate the exchange of incandescent (round bulbs) for the compact energy saving bulbs. In St George they were at the NIS Building on Melville Street and the Financial Complex on the Carenage. In St Andrew the teams were at the Grenville Market Square, Riverlette Lane, Carrier, Moya and Union. And in St Patrick at the Sauteurs Market Square/Bus Terminal, the Police Station, Snell Hall and Mt Rich. All is requested to take full advantage of this great opportunity to acquire energy efficient bulbs, which will substantially reduce electrical demand and by extension, your electricity cost.
