The Competition which is sponsored by Gregory Bowen brings together various teams in St.George’s. Most of the teams include in their lineup, players who are affiliated to the Premier Division of the Grenada Football Association. Infact, national players Patrick Modeste and Nigel Bishop were key players for Generation in their victory over Building Tech even though they won on penalty kicks, Bishop netted three (3) goals bringing his tally to 13 goals only two goals behind current leader and former national striker Dwayne Jerome who plays for Boys on d Block. Speaking of Boys on D Block, they crushed favorites Darbeau Lions 4-2 in their encounter to progress to the finals. Scores of fans are expected to turn out on Sunday to witness what the organizers are predicting to be “the best finals ever in the Competition”. The match begins at 4:00 pm sharp. At the end of the match, there will be an official presentation of awards to the outstanding players, officials and teams for their performances in the Competition.
