Scenes of jubilation covered the Morne Jaloux Playing Field on Sunday at the final whistle as the Generation supporters stormed the field celebrating victory of What was considered to be a thriller lived up to the expectations of many. Both teams -Boys on D Block and Generation - boasted of keys national players in their lineup. The likes of Patrick Modeste, Kitson Bain, Nigel Bishop, Dwayne Jerome and others. At the final whistle, the score read: Generation 2 and Boys on D Block 1. Then it was time to present awards for the outstanding achievers. Dwayne Jerome who plays for Boys on D Block received the Golden Boot Award for netting 15 goals in the Competition. Awards were also presented to Knock Out Champions Skill Youths and the Trophy that really mattered the Champions of the League Cup Generation. Well the sponsor of the winning team David Lambert was there to celebrate with his team and also took time to meet with the sponsor Hon. Gregory Bowen. The Organizing Committee was high in praise for such a successful Competition and promise to come bigger and better next season.
