The Miss Grenada World Contestants will travel to La Sagesse Hotel and Restaurant on Sunday, March 11, for brunch. The 18 contestants will then be judged for the Miss Beach Beauty title, while enjoying the picturesque beach and gardens of La Sagesse. The title of Miss Beach Beauty is one of six awards to be given to the Contestants. These awards, which are to be presented at the National Finals on March 31 at the GBSS Auditorium, include: Miss Talent, Miss Beach Beauty, Miss Fitness, Miss Congeniality, Miss Best Complexion and Miss Elegance. The 18 contestants have already competed for the Talent component which was held on March 1. That event was a resounding success. “Everyone was bowled over by the variety and professionalism that was displayed at the talent contest on March 1 2007,” said Jennifer Hosten, Miss World 1970 and organizer of the Miss Grenada World pageant. “I guess we could have opened the show to the public but the real purpose of it was to give the contestants an insight into their own talent and creativity and to build confidence.” All media are invited to La Sagesse on Sunday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. for the brunch and to cover this event.
