The Miss Grenada World Contestants will compete on Saturday, March 17, for the title of Miss Fitness. The contest will consist of a fitness marathon to be held at Body Image, one of the Miss Grenada World sponsors, at Excel Plaza. This competition is one of six such events within the lead up to the Miss Grenada World Pageant on March 31, giving the participants an opportunity to compete at a broader level. The winner will receive a trophy. The Contestants have already competed for Miss Talent and Miss Beach Beauty. Other categories include, Miss Fitness, Miss Best Complexion, Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic. The results of all of these competitions will be announced at the National finals on March 31. The Contestants can be identified by the T-shirts they will be wearing which say ‘Miss Grenada World Contestant. The T-shirts were kindly donated to the Contestants by Deco Industries Ltd. The Public will have an opportunity to see and talk with the Miss Grenada World Contestants during their island tour on Sunday, March 18, sponsored by Adventure Tours. “This island tour provides an opportunity to introduce the contestants to different parts of the country, as well as to generate interest in the Pageant around the country” said Jennifer Hosten, Pageant organizer.
