CATEGORY:APPOINTMENT ------------------------- INSIDE GRENADA Sunday March 18,2007 by Wallace J.A KENRICK ROBERTSON, brother of Mrs. Adina Bhola (wife of the late H.M. Bhola) and well-known St. Andrew’s businessman, Mr. Clifford Robertson, has recently been appointed by Governor de Jongh of St.Croix as the new Commissioner of Licensing and Consumer Affairs on the island. Mr. Robertson is an attorney on the island of St.Croix, specializing in consumer rights and advocacy. He works as a staff attorney at Legal Services of the Virgin Islands, a firm which provides legal representation in civil matters for people who cannot afford attorneys. In a written statement, Governor de Jongh expressed confidence in Mr. Robertson’s ability to bring about the changes that are needed to protect the territory’s consumers, making reference to his vast experience in the field of consumer advocacy. Mr. Robertson holds a juris doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in New York, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pace University in New York.
