MADE IN HIS IMAGE - BIBLICAL PREDICTIONS ABOUT ISRAEL
click
CATEGORY:RELIGION --------------------- INSIDE GRENADA Tuesday April 10,2007 by Lyndon St.Cyr As was stated in the previous article, this series addresses the reliability of the Bible, in light of its many prophecies. Many preachers, teachers and scientists, have looked at this topic before and it is our hope to place Biblical Prophecy into its right perspective. It is understood that no prophecy is of any private interpretation; holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. In today’s article, some more predictions will be discussed: 3. Israel would be brought forth “out of many nations” Again this prophecy was fulfilled on May 14, 1948 as thousands of Jews left nations all around the world to join the repatriation. The prophet Ezekiel substantiates this exodus in chapter 38 and verse 8. 4. Israel must regain the city of Jerusalem. This prophecy was made in Joel 2:32 and Isaiah 28:14 and actually came through, as predicted, in 1967. To this very day, veterans of that famous week-long war, speak with reverence concerning the miracles they saw happen on the battle field. It should be noted here that the Bible gives two methods by which we can determine the times in which we live. One of those is the “rebirth” of the nation of Israel whilst the other is a series of events that will come together at one time. The Bible predicts that from Israel’s rebirth to the end of time, a generation will not pass. In the next article we will discuss the state of the Christian church in the latter times. Best regards to all and remember, today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart. Shalom to all.
