Mick Jagger, legedenary rock star of the famed Rolling Stones band, paid his first visit to Grenada last week when he attended the New Zealand South Africa Super 8 match at the National Cricket Stadium on Thursday, April 12. During the course of the day, Jagger, an avid cricket fan, met with the Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Dr. Keith Mitchell, his Excellency the Governor General Sir Daniel Williams as well as other Ministers of Government. Jagger and his family were the guests of Digicel Grenada, who hosted them in the Digicel corporate box and Digicel’s Country Manager, Patricia Maher, was thrilled to meet with the legendary rock star and share the experience of watching world class cricket in the heart of St. George’s.
