TRAVELING CARIBBEAN FILM FESTIVAL FOR GRENADA  
The Grenada Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture is delighted to announce the forthcoming inaugural travelling Caribbean Film Festival. This exciting new festival will be held from May 18 to 20, 2007. The festival has been touring throughout the region for the last few weeks and arrives in Grenada to much excitement. Thirty-three hours of viewing including short films & documentaries, a programme of films for children, Caribbean gems and classics like ‘the harder they come’ will be presented from 22 countries across the region including Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Guyana, Dominica and Curacao and will be screened in St. George at the Trade Centre and Excel Plaza and in St. Andrew at the newly refurbished Deluxe Cinema, Grenville. The festival will be launched on Thursday May 17 at the Trade Centre and will open with the screening of the premiere film ‘Roble de olor’ by Rigoberto Lopez from Cuba.
