CATEGORY:HEALTH --------------------- INSIDE GRENADA THURSDAY JUNE 7,2007 GRENADA: The Government of Grenada has received thumbs up ratings from the staff, patients, and villagers of Mirabeau and surrounding areas for the superb work done on the Princess Alice Hospital, St. Andrew’s. Such positive ratings came last evening when the Minster for Health Sen. the Hon. Ann David Antoine led a delegation of government officials and senior health professionals to the opening of the new hospital facility which forms part of the main Princess Alice Hospital. One of the nurses who spoke at the ceremony said that although the facility took a while to be delivered it was worth waiting for, since they now boast of a decent, strong and spacious facility which compliments the professional delivery of healthcare services and patient care. Minister Antoine in delivering the feature address reassured all in attendance that the government is steadfast in its commitment towards improving the lives of all Grenadian’s, and that healthcare for all its citizens remains a top priority. The Hon. Minister encouraged staff and patients to make the best of the facilities provided. The new section will be used to facilitate another patient’s ward, the Physiotherapy department among others. Article reprinted from www.gov.gd
