HAMILTON MAKES IT TWO IN A ROW
The young British driver, whose grandparents came to Britain from Grenada, makes more Formula One history by winning his second Grand Prix in a row, this time in the United States. Hamilton had a 1.5 second lead over Fernando Alonso at the finishing line. Lewis Hamilton produced yet another incredible performance to claim his second successive F1 win in a McLaren one-two at the US Grand Prix. The Briton of mixed Black Caribbean and White British heritage, once again displayed maturity beyond his years to dominate the race from the starting line at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hamilton survived an over-taking move from Alonso on lap 39 but held his nerve to push his team-mate wide. The Ferraris of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen took third and fourth place. It was just last week that Lewis Hamilton won the Montreal Grand Prix. Reprinted from bbccaribbean.com
