HUDSON AUSTIN IN HOSPITAL
The former leader of the People's Revolutionary Army, Hudson Austin, has been hospitalised suffering from stomach pains and bladder problems, one of the defence lawyers told the special sitting of the Grenada court yesterday. The court is hearing arguments in the resentencing of 13 people convicted of killing former left wing prime minister Maurice Bishop in 1983. Queen's Counsel Howard Hamilton said Austin had been taken to the General Hospital and had given his consent to the proceedings continuing in his absence. There was no objection from Director of Public Prosecutions Christopher Nelson. Reprinted from nnnews.com
