Willis Youths won their encounter against Springs, 2-nil at Tanteen. Over at Queens Park, Morne Jaloux earned a comfortable victory 3 - 0 against big Parish St. Andrews Football League. The other match featured the two newly promoted teams, Five Stars edged past Sunjets 2 -1 over at the Victoria Park in Grenville to start on a positive campaign. Yesterday, four matches were played in the Premier Division to complete the first round of matches. GBSS defeated Police 2- 0 at Tanteen. Eagles Super Strikers and South Stars played to a 1-1 draw at Fond. Paradise won away to Hard Rock 2-0 at Plains and Queens Rangers and Fontenoy United played to a 1-1 draw at Queens Park.
