CATEGORY:POLITICS --------------------- INSIDE GRENADA THURSDAY JULY 12,2007 On July 13th 2007, The Parliamentary Opposition of Grenada will host a National Conference on the Economy at the Grenada Trade Centre, in Grand Anse St. Georges. The main objective of the conference is to engage the widest cross-section of stakeholders / social partners in a national consultation on the state of the Grenadian economy, the socio-economic challenges facing our country at this time and the way forward. The conference will run from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The Opening Plenary will feature a few brief presentations that are global/ general/ macroeconomic in nature that will set the stage for more local/ specific focus group discussions that will ensue in the workshops which will follow. This exercise will then be followed by a Closing Plenary, where the conclusions and recommendations would be gathered and distilled. We shall be most pleased to receive and welcome you or a representative of your organisation at the Conference.
