CATEGORY:SPORTS(FOOTBALL) ------------------------------ INSIDE GRENADA WEDNESDAY July 18,2007 by Lester Smith ST.GEORGE’S: A huge victory for Boca Juniors on Monday July 16 against Sunshine Flour Happy Hill pushes them ahead of the GFA Second Division Standings. Four (4) goals from Demon Daniel and one (1) each from Gene Emery and National Youth Striker, Derrol Redhead, was enough to seal a 6-0 victory for the boys from Plains in St. Patrick's. Boca is now unbeaten with a maximum of 12 points from four (4) matches. In other matches played on Monday, Tempe All Blacks had to come from behind to level the score with Trade Center Honved 2-2 over at the Tempe Playing Field. Delon Philbert and Cutty Bartholomew converted for All Blacks while Mickey Charles scored for Honved. In other matches played, Spartax won comfortably against Hampshire 2-0 at the Alston George Park in Victoria. Japheth Baptiste and Jensen Lewis converted for Spartax. St. Paul's lost their home encounter to Mt. Rich 2-0 at Queens Park and Carenage trounced Combined Northerners 4-1 at Tanteen. Meanwhile, St. John's Sports will have the chance to slip into third spot when they take on FUTGOF at the Queens Park today (Wednesday July 18, 2007). They are yet to lose a match in the GFA First Division with a maximum 12 points from four (4) matches. In other matches to be played today, Sunjets United and Springs will battle over at the Cuthbert Peters Park and Caribbean Agro Belle Vue Rangers and Ball Dogs will meet at La Sagesse.
