GRENADA RECORDS GOOD PERFOMANCE IN EASTERN CARIBBEAN BO...
Grenada’s Vaughan Francis won the overall title and placed first in the light heavyweight division at the just-concluded Eastern Caribbean bodybuilding Championships in Trinidad. In the other male category, Damien Daniel placed first in heavyweight and Joel Ross third in the lightweight category. Grenada also contended in the female division of the competition, where Sharlene Miller took second place in Ms Fitness, and Shana Jawahir fourth in the body fitness tall class division. Trinidad and Tobago placed first in the overall championship, followed by Grenada in second place. Trinidad and Tobago dominated the body-fitness aspect of the show, where Michelle Alleyne and Tamara Bailey won the short and tall class, respectively. A very acrobatic Nicole Carter of Barbados was the top fitness woman on the night, winning the class in which Trinidad and Tobago's Karen George was third. The men's version was won by a fit-looking Neil Diaz of T&T in the acrobatic routine. Reprinted from Caribbean Net News caribbeannetnews.com
