NOTICE FROM ENERGY DIVISION ON GAS PRICES  
CATEGORY:ECOMOMY(GAS PRICES) ------------------------------ INSIDE GRENADA WEDNESDAY August 1,2007 GRENADA: The general public is hereby informed that, effective Wednesday, August 1st, 2007, the retail prices of petroleum products (Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and LPG (Cooking Gas) in the State of Grenada will experience the under mentioned change: Grenada: Old Price New Price Gasoline $13.09 /IG $12.92 /IG Diesel $11.29/IG $11.88 /1G Kerosene $8.83 /IG $9.25 /IG L.P.G (Cooking Gas) 20 lbs Cylinder $36.02 $37.25 100 lbs Cylinder $177.62 $183.76 Bulk $1.77 /lb $1.83 /lb Carriacou: Old Price New Price Gasoline $13.25 /IG $13.08 /IG Diesel $11.45 /IG $12.04 /IG Kerosene $9.00 /IG $9.42 /IG L.P.G (Cooking Gas) 20 lbs Cylinder $40.52 $41.75 100 lbs Cylinder $192.12 $198.26 Bulk $1.77 /lb $1.83 /lb The new Retail Prices are computed based on the average FOB costs (Ex-refinery prices) for the last eight (8) weeks, ending July 3, 2007. The Government will continue to closely monitor the pricing mechanism and would adjust in accordance with subsequent market price movements. All consumers are encouraged to act wisely to conserve and use energy efficiently. This situation must not be abused by any persons involved in the sale of these products to gain excess profit. Consumers are encouraged to report any incidences to the Price Control / consumer Affairs Unit of the Ministry of Finance. Our Price Control Officers will be monitoring constantly the retail prices to ensure compliance, and everyone is encouraged to act within the law. Energy Division Ministry of Agriculture

sorry to say mary ,this deal is only to benifit two dictators not the average people ,,sad but its true ,,they dont have our interest at heart ,for them its easy cause we pay for what they use ,while they pocket their money ,,

Man, I thought that with the PetroCaribe deal with venezuela, the price of gas will be going down...what the hell is this? How does Perto caribe benefit me as a poor, struggline house-wife?
