GEORGE’S - A young beauty from the parish of St.David, Beverly Victor, was able to successfully walk away with the title of Miss Spicy Grenada last night in front of a packed Trade Center in St.George’s. Beverly had strong performances throughout the entire competition which resulted in her receiving the awards for best platform speech and best evening wear. She was able to amass a total of 1797 points, 127 points ahead of the first runner-up, Renée Moses (Miss St. George). Renée accumulated 1670 points and captured the titles of Ms. Photogenic, best swim-wear and best costume (her costume was entitled Mystical Beauty). In third position was Cainesha Douglas (Miss St. Mark) with a total of 1593 points. The remaining positions were not given, but the awards for best question and answer and Miss Congeniality went to, Sheena Belfon (Miss St. Patrick). All contestants, however, emerged as winners in the end, having performed with true distinction throughout the competition in front of an appreciative crowd. They were all given gift prizes.
