CATEGORY:EDUCATION --------------------- INSIDE GRENADA SUNDAY August 19,2007 by Wallace J.A GRENADA – The St. Patrick’s Multi-purpose Center has now been renamed the T A Marryshow Community College, St. Patrick’s Campus. The new campus to the north of the island will offer studies in a number of areas which includes Plumbing, Hospitality Arts, Secretarial Science and Building Technology. TAMCC, the nation’s largest tertiary institution, will also be broadening its Modern Languages program to include the Chinese and German languages. The college will further broaden its curriculum with the introduction of Cultural Studies and a diploma in Early Childhood Education for the new academic year. The T A Marryshow Community College currently has a full-time student population of 1,710 students and a part-time population of 1,035 students, making it one of the largest tertiary institutions in the OECS.
