GRENADA: This weekend, many Grenadians will be turning their attention to regional football. The Barbados Under 23 male football team will be in the Spice Isle to play two friendly matches with their Grenadian counterparts.
The first match takes place at the Victoria Park, Grenville tomorrow (Saturday September 1) and the second game will be played at the Tanteen Playing Field, St.George’s on Sunday September 2, 2007. Both matches will commence at 4:00PM and the price of admission is only $5.00 ECD.
Grenadians are encouraged to come out in their numbers to support the local team in these two encounters. Some of the national footballers include the likes of Shane Rennie, Marcus Julien, Mark Marshall among others. These two games promise to be very exciting and entertaining.
