And great earthquakes shall be in be divers places, and famines, and pestilence; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Lu. 21: 10, & 11. For your selves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of the light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others; but let us watch and be sober.1 Th.5: 2,3,4,5 & 6. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: The nations of this world are treading on dangerous waters; and as a result; it is on "a collision course: with deadly destiny." The behavior of the environment and that of man leaves much to be desired. We see that all of a sudden that man is claiming, that they have discovered, that the drastic changes in the weather patterns are responsible for the dreadful climatic conditions; that we are now experiencing. And worst of all that it is man's insatiable greed for wealth and power; that has brought about this situation. Until now no one is too sure of the consequences of the effects of the removal of billons of barrels of oil from the earth's crust each year. The United States of America alone consumes 20 million barrels of oil per day. The world consumption per day is something like 180 million barrels of oil per day. The environmentalists are busy out there spending million of dollars to hold conferences on climate change, and are demanding that the main polluters set targets so that there can be a meaningful and verifiable approach in dealing with the reduction of carbon emissions in our atmosphere. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: As well intentioned, as some people may be on this issue: there are those that are not. Let it be written, let it be clearly understood. "That the efforts of the environmentalist today to save the earth from destruction are late; and are all in vain." In short most of these so called efforts today, are political stunts for the appeasement of an already deteriorated and embarrassing situation. I believe that which the word of the Lord is saying, in regards to the climatic conditions as it exists in these last days. In fact the Bible has made it quite clear that some of these climatic conditions are judgment. e.g. the whirlwind, or hurricanes and that the Lord will use the weather as part of his weapons of war before the tribulation, during the tribulation; and in the thousand year reign of Christ.(read Zec.14: 17,18,&19. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away,the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men left. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved; the earth is moved exceedingly, The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall and not rise. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: this means that it will fail to rotate once in every twenty four hours on its axis. And instead roll East and then West.Is. 24: 4,5, 6.
