As a result of the persistent rains being experienced, a team from the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) made a tour of the island on Friday to follow up on reports of damage throughout the country. The following have been reported: * Flooding, infrastructural damage & landslides were reported in the parishes of St. Andrew, St. John & St. David and some small farms have sustained some damage as a result of the flooding. * The upper and lower Balthazar bridges were flooded out, with minor damage to the newly built Balthazar Bridge. Some houses in area were also flooded. * A downed power line in St. Clouds * Other minor landslides have been reported. NaDMA wishes to advise the public to continue to exercise precaution since more landslides are expected due to the over saturation of the soil.
