Air Jamaica has announced changes to its baggage allowances which includes price increases and embargoes.
The carrier said that during December, passengers flying in economy class from Toronto to Kingston and from New York to Grenada and Barbados will only be allowed two bags, each weighing no more than 50 pounds.
From December 16 to 26 the same will apply on all routes for passengers in economy class.
Air Jamaica says any additional luggage may be shipped as freight.
In addition, from November 1 the fee for bags weighing more than 50 pounds and less than 70 pounds has been increased from 25 to 50 US dollars per bag.
