CATEGORY:ENTERTAINMENT --------------------------- INSIDE GRENADA SUNDAY November 04,2007 Grenada's "next dimension in nightlife" was revealed on Saturday October 27th at the Media and Industry launch of Karma, the new $2.5M night club. Over 400 invited guests including Minister of Works, Hon. Brenda Hood, Minister of National Security Hon. Einstein Louison, and MP for St. George's Peter David joined owners Steve Duncan and Steve Campbell for what is being called the most talked about club project ever in Grenada. Co owner of the club Steve Duncan has described the club as a labour of love which he wants to share with the Grenadian people. He told the appreciative audience that the owners of Karma wanted to create not just a special night club for Grenada, but an experience. "I know that Grenadians will be proud of the fact that Karma can compete with the best night clubs in the world. Not only are we offering the latest technology in lighting, video and sound systems, we will also be offering some of the most creative theme parties, the best service on the island and of course we will have the priceless view of the Carenage as one of our best assets. The club will be staffed by 32 full time and part time fully trained individuals", commented Mr. Duncan. Minister of Works Hon. Brenda Hood said in her remarks that Karma would bring a new energy to the Carenage. "Government will continue to assist Grenadian business persons with incentives to promote more local business," Minister Hood said. The new Karma night club features incredible lights and sound, new color changing LED lighting technology, over 12 plasma screens, 4 full service bars, plush bottle service booths, a fully lit 32 feet concert stage, a nicely decorated split level VIP lounge overlooking the main dance floor. With these features, Karma is being compared to the most popular Zen in Trinidad and Xtreme in Barbados. Karma will also feature some of the top DJ's and artists on island and around the world, so everyone is a VIP at Karma. Karma will be open to the public as of Saturday November 3rd, featuring an all inclusive VIP theme party, "Party like a Rock Star". Opening days will be Wednesdays to Saturdays. Patrons must be 18 and with a fashion club like Karma, a trendy dress code is always in effect.
