CONCERNS IN GRENADA OVER ALL-GAY CRUISES COMING TO PORT...
The Keith Mitchell administration says it has not yet made a decision on whether gay cruises, scheduled to visit the island in the next few months, will be allowed to call on Port St. George. Tourism Minister Dr Clarice Modeste Curwin, said government is to review the matter in light of strong concerns raised by the public on cultural and religious grounds. Two cruise liners have scheduled all-gay cruises to several Caribbean countries including Grenada in December, January, February and March. Barbados and Dominica are among Caribbean countries on the itinerary of the cruise liners. The news has created a major stir in Grenada and has sparked a raging debate in the country with many callers to talk shows voicing opposition to the planned visit. Reprinted from radioja.com

I am reading the news and I see Pastor Douglas says .. in my own words we the people of Grenada Carriacou and Petite Martinique have to think before we make or come to conclusions who are we to judge? Gays and Lesbians are world wide now , long ago it was a thing that we tried to keep in the Closet now in almost all Countries it is accepted.. We do not have to like it it but if that's the various parties choice who are we to condem them??? We have our own people Boy and girl walking the roads hugging, kissing, holding hands and what else we see sometimes . Our kids as young as they are , are allowed to look at all sorts of shows on TV so lets not FOOL ourselves They are exposed to that lifestyle right at HOME.. We as parents should be smart enough to educate , talk to them and try to explain that what we see is not always what is right but we have to know within ourselves when to make the choice .. The Government ,, Tourism Ministry would have to let the parties know what is expected once they are on our Soil Again I say we have such people in our OWN homeland It is their Choice we are in no position to condem

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. The last time i checked,Grenada was hit by two Hurricanes within a year, and there was no Gay cruise that had docked.Grenada had a coup(the maurice bishop years),and no Gay ship had docked.Whats the fuss about? You think if you see a Gay person then you will become Gay?I say grow up people and concentrate on the other problems we have on this beautiful island.I guarantee you when the Ship leaves, all Grenada's problems will still be there.

I think we need to worry about our own backyard and not worry about who visits it. They are not here to stay but our own problems don't us on a ship that sails out of port. let those who are without..cast the first stone....
